The first edition of our newsletter, wow, even to get here, what a trip it’s been. Since we brewed our first commercial batch in January, it’s been a rollercoaster of a year. You all have taken us in with open arms, and your support has been absolutely unreal. There’s a lot of exciting things on the horizon. Let’s go through them, shall we?

Player 8,195 Has Entered the Game, our Sour IPA brewed with raspberries, dragonfruit, hibiscus & vanilla just hit distro, and for the first time ever we began to offer draft options! We’re excited to see our beer shared at dining establishments, as well flowing through our peers in brewing’s guest taps at breweries such as Whiskey Hill Brewing Co. in Westmont, and More Brewing Co. in both Huntley and Villa Park. THANK YOU to everyone that’s picked up the beer, as we really stepped out of our comfort zone brewing our first-ever Sour IPA and immediately sending it out for you guys. We’re excited to explore the style more in the coming months.

Narangi Sunrise hits packaging this coming week!

As we type this, we’re putting the final touches on Narangi Sunrise, our Double IPA brewed with fresh Tangerines, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, and Milk Sugar. We hit this beer with a massive amount of Citra & Idaho-7 hops that we felt lend further notes of Citrus, Orange Juice, Orange Marmalade, and Grapefruit. Pick up a 4-pack or two and enjoy it while grilling and watching the fireworks this forth of July!

Aliena, our first commercial Imperial Stout.

It’s been such a long time coming, but we’ve finally brewed our “Encore” recipe on a large scale! This rich and viscous imperial stout is currently resting on a financially-irresponsible amount of hand-split and processed Madagascar vanilla beans. Early tasting notes include flavors of fudgy chocolate, subtle rye spice and dark fruit, and a touch of dark roast coffee-like roastiness. As the beer continues to extract the flavor from the vanilla beans, we’ll see intense flavors of marshmallow and earthy vanilla come from the beans. It’s been exciting to see this beer develop in stainless, and it’s even more exciting as we think about finally being able to share this recipe with so many of you!

Black is Beautiful: Brewed to Support Justice & Equality for People of Color.

We’re thrilled have brewed “Black is Beautiful” this week, a worldwide collaborative imperial stout brewed to bring attention to social injustice and to promote equality. Our iteration was brewed in collaboration with our friends at our host brewery, Church Street Brewing Co.

We took the collaborative recipe and utilized some of our favorite grains and malts, and the finished beer will rest on Ugandan Coffee from our friends at Endiro Coffee, Ghanaian Cacao Nibs, & Saigon Cinnamon. This beer is very important to us, and we’re making it rich and flavorful, in hopes that the beer, and what it stands for, will be just as important to you.

Massive thanks to Weathered Souls for putting this project together!

and finally, we’re in the process of shopping for a brewhouse and equipment for our newly acquired Aurora location at 110 Cross Street in beautiful Downtown Aurora. As we progress during the buildout, we’ll be keeping you guys updated throughout the process. We can’t wait to be up and running in Aurora, and more importantly, we can’t wait to fill the barrel cellar with oak.

Again, thank you guys so much for the love and support during this journey. We couldn’t be doing this without you.
